GRANDMA GG'S 100TH BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!

Grandma GG turns 100 on Tuesday, Aug 10! She is truly amazing, and we love her dearly! We drove to Twin Falls Friday and spent the day with her and the rest of the family on Saturday. It was really great to see everyone, and it was especially great to celebrate the life of this wonderful and amazing woman. It is wild to think that she was born in 1910 and has seen so much change in the world. It was also wonderful that Lindsay, Matt, and Alexi (Matt's girlfriend) were able to join us.

We also took Matt and Alexi to the Shoshone and Twin Falls (which is now a "uni-falls" because they have built a power plant which diverted the water from the second falls...are they going to change the name of Twin Falls to Uni Falls???...who knows...).

I got stung by a wasp trying to open a gate at the Shoshone Falls. It hurt really bad until Pam made mud from the side of the road and placed it on the sting. My hand is still swollen and itches (that deep itch that is never satisfied). I think it's only the second time in my life that I have been stung by a wasp. Those buggers are N-A-S-T-Y!!!
